Is „Generation Z“ lazy because they don’t wanna work 40, 50, 60 hours a week for someone else and want more time for themselves? For friends, family, hobbies, travelling, their own projects, building a business on the side,..?
I don’t think so.
Older generations might think the young people of today are lazy, I feel they’re waking up and realize that the current system is outdated and needs a change.
And change is gonna come - if people want it or not – we see it happening already.
Kids today might still learn about jobs that won’t even exist anymore once they finish school and there will be jobs in 10 years that we can‘t even imagine today.
The question is:
Do you wanna be scared of change, unwilling to learn new things, hoping your job is safe?
Or do you wanna embrace change and see it as a chance?
Personally I prefer the latter.
One reason I have so much trust in my online business even though some others might think it’s strange to make money online and that it’s not a „real job“ is that I know it’s part of the future.
I don’t wanna belong to the people clinging to the old system, resisting change and in 10 years wondering what to do now because their job isn’t needed anymore and they never learned anything else.
A lot of jobs will fall victim to digitalisation but there will be a higher demand for other jobs.
From what I’ve read and heard a lot of jobs will be anything in online marketing, social media etc (of course) and also in the whole wide field of health, environment, agriculture and research.
A lot of „simpler" jobs can be replaced by machines and artificial intelligence but there still will be so many other jobs that we need humans for. So in contrast to the fear of a lot of people there very likely will still be enough jobs in the future for everyone, they might just look different from the ones we’re used to.
I talked about this topic in my story today as well and already got some feedback but again because this topic is so important:
