As hand sanitizer is sold out at most retail store and online I’ve learned how to make my own. .
It’s rather simple if you can find the items which luckily we had the things already here at home. .
Things needed is... 3/4 cup of at least 70% alcohol (isopropyl or rubbing alcohol) the higher % the better.
1/4 cup of aloe vera gel
10 drops of essential oil such as lavender, tea oil, or whatever oil you choose or you can use lemon 🍋 juice instead. .
pour all ingredients into a bowl, ideally one with a pouring spout like the glass measuring container I have in the picture. .
Next mix with a spoon and then beat with a whisk to turn the sanitizer into a gel. .
Then pour the ingredients into an empty bottle for easy use and label it hand sanitizer. .
There you have it easy peezy not too bad at all. . *** please note improper ingredients or proportions can lead to side effects such as skin irritations, burns and other things so...please be very careful when making this and it is not recommended for use with children. .
It’s not as good as washing for 20 seconds with good ‘ol soap and water but it’s better than nothing at all. .
